Your Software (YS) is a registered business (No. B1812452X, registered 31/1/2005) that operates as a Project Office / Project Delivery Centre for the post graduate students enrolled in the 2 year Masters.

The Master of Applied Science in Information Systems is a full time two years degree. The Your Software teams undertake corporate projects while completing their final semester. The Postgraduate Projects course is designed to provide students with hands on practical experience developing software in a commercial project environment.

The emphasis is on understanding and working within a corporate environment using formal project and software delivery methodologies.

The final deliverable (application/ programs) is scoped and agreed with the corporate sponsor.

The Your Software (YS) Office is equipped with an independent client server network that is fully supported by the RMIT CS & IT Technical Services Group. There is currently a maximum number of 36 workstations = 36 students. The technical environment will continue to be upgraded from time to time as required.

The technical environments of the sponsor organizations are emulated as much as is practicable so that the YS teams can develop applications for implementation at corporate sites in like environments.
